The second family generation, headed by Fabio and Manuele, continued to run the business. Besides increasing their shop's success, they tried to express their creativity, with the opening, in 1987, of an handmade chocolate shop in Forlì, in a little laboratory of town centre, where they mainly produced pralines and chocolate bars for private clients. This kind of context has favoured the development of the company “L' Artigiano”, not only as a trademark but, specifically, as a precise philosophy which, for more than 20 years, has represented Fabio and Manuele Gardini in the magic chocolate world.
Their passion for chocolate, their desire for new experiences, their capacity of unifying tradition, innovation and creativity, have favoured the growing consolidation of “L'Artigiano”, as one of the most famous and appreciated pastry shops in the area.
Gardini brothers consider handcraft manufacturing as an absolute value to pursue with perseverance, without taking easier shortcuts. In the manufacturing department, you will not find any automatic production lines. Only in this way, these products boast a unique soul and heart or incomparable personality. Nothing is left to chance, from the accurate selection of cacaos based on their origins, up to the pure chocolate manufacturing with local species and products, or the careful manual packaging.
