Anchal Talesara is a music director/ music producer/ performer (Tabla and keyboards) based in Mumbai, India. She has her music studio in Andheri(W), Mumbai.
Hailing from Rajasthan she has composed music for Hindi film projects, ad jingles, serial title tracks, corporate films, film and book promo background scores.
She has an in depth training and understanding of Indian classical music and some training and deep interest in western classical music, world music, fusion, popular music, folk, house, rock, sufi music and all musical genres.
She is a trained Tabla player. She was awarded the diploma of Sangeet Visharad pratham khand from Pracheen kala kendra, Chandigarh in Tabla with 95% marks in practicals. She recently completed music mixing and mastering course from Point Blank music institute,Hoxton, London with distinction in 4 assignments out of 5.
Anchal likes watching all kinds of movies from the larger than life feel good movies of Steven Spielberg, Baz Luhrmann, Yash Chopra to crime thrillers by Quantin Tarantino like pulp fiction, Martin Mcdonagh's In bruges.
Highly introspective cinema by filmmakers like Guru Dutt , Emir Kusturica, Fateh Akin, Michael Haneke, Shekhar Kapoor (Bandit Queen) , Mira Nair, Deepa Mehta which shakes the very core of one's existence and propels one to become a more sensitive and empathetic human being to Mani Ratnam's movies which have mixed elements of introspective and entertaining cinema.
