Beth Nielsen Chapman - Hearts Of Glass FLAC

Beth Nielsen Chapman's "Hearts of Glass" is her 13th solo album, 14th if you count her collaboration with Amy Sky and Olivia Newton John. It's a strong effort from this master musician singer-songwriter. "Enough for Me" is the catchiest ditty with a joyful bouncing rhythm and Beth's upbeat voice, "You're my life, my soul's infatuation, only everything, that's enough for me." She re-records two songs from "You Hold the Key." "Rage on Rage" is a sad haunting song about spousal abuse with Beth's vocals sad and forlorn. "Child Again" is also re-recorded about a senior citizen in a nursing home, "Inside her mind she is running in the summer wind." The opening track "Come to Mine" lays its catchy melody on a mid-tempo track with Chapman in great voice, "Let's just dance like there's no tomorrow with our hearts entwined." Produced by Sam Ashworth, there are a couple sentimental love songs, "You're Still My Valentine" and "If My World Didn't Have You." While I gravitate to the faster tracks, this is a lovely disc.
