That should be forbidden to sell, pure quality junk, I admire the guy put to sell, nonsense and the discogs should take action, if it is to make it do well done, clowning totally disappointed.
I disagree with the poster's highly inflammatory comment. It was obvious to me that that the music was a promo item, as the person from SOS has stated below. I appreciate the originality of the packaging and challenge you to find a similar product with better quality.
This items is a PLAYABLE POSTCARD pressed on paper. It is not promoted as vinyl or with any audiophile aspects. For this reason it comes with a free download link for people to enjoy the music. The flexi-postcard comes free inside a copy of the Hip Hop Family Tree comic and is a promotional item. It was included as throwback to the days of cardboard records included on the backs of cereal packets. Where the sound was poor and you'd need to heavily weight your needle arm to play. If you were expecting a vinyl record or something with more audiophile aspects, that certainly not something we advertised as a part of this release. It is what it was intended and advertised to be...a paper postcard with audio pressed into it for free insertion in the comic. We're sorry you are disappointed!
is my copy the only one where the flexidisc has so much background noise it is barely playable due to the material it is pressed on?
it is promoted as a playable postcard. how is one supposed to know that it is not playable? I understand your point, but I can't agree that terrible soundquality is to be expected upon purchase.
It's pressed on paper and was promoted as a playable postcard or flexi-postcard as the manufacturer calls it. It isn't vinyl so doesn't have any audiophile aspects, which is why there is a link to download it for free so the music can be enjoyed. The postcard is a gimmick as a throwback to those included in comics and the backs of cereal packets back in the day and it was included for free with the comic. Anyone looking to tear it out of the comic and have an audiophile experience on their turntable will be disappointed, which is why it's not promoted in that way.
