One of my best sounding records. If you want to hear want vinyl is capable of on a top system...play this!
This is one of the most beautiful vinyl reissue i ever heard in my life. first of all the package is lovely with black lyned sleeves, protecting the LP, the surface of the records are clean and spotless, not so common in nowadays production, plus the records are perfectly flat; the sound is more than lovely, powerful but with no kind of extra Tunes, bass is deep but mild and Steve Hogarth voice is natural and sensual as it should. surface noise is ZERO the record sounds killer even from this point of view and can be played without any backround noises. there is air and soundstage. it's a Worth and Amazing experience this listening since i think this album is one of the best prog band Marillion ever!
the double Groove on the 4(5) side provides as stated on this page an alternative final, it will be played one and one from time to time.
EMI made the goal with those wonderful Marillion reissues. this is what happen when original masters are used!
play it loud, with the lights off!!! ;)
